Conclusion

  • King Triple-Victory came back to Patience with a body on his shoulder.
  • The monk thanked him and said he did him a huge favor by doing this
  • He took the body and bathed it, put garlands on it and put it in the middle of a circle
  • He smeared ashes onto his own body, put a cord of human hair on and wrapped himself in a dead man's clothes
  • He offered liquor in a skull and human teeth along with human eyes and flesh
  • After completing his worship he told the King to lie flat on the floor in an attitude of reverence so that he can get what he wants
  • The King remembered what the goblin had said and told him that he didn't know how to do that and asked the monk to demonstrate
  • The monk demonstrated and when he laid down the King cut off of his head and with a sword, cut his heart out and split it open
  • He then gave the head and the heart to the goblin
  • All of the little gods were thrilled and the goblin told the King that the monk was trying to become the king of the fairies
  • The King said he didn't want anything anymore but asked that the little stories of the twenty-two goblins be told throughout the world and treasured
  • The goblins said he would make sure of it and even when the stories are told they will be free from sin and elves, giants, witches, and imps will have no power
  • The goblin then left the dead body and went where he wanted
  • Shiva came down to the king and declared him the king of fairies and gave him a sword that will make whatever he wanted come true whenever he uses it
