If you're like me, you're terrible at checking canvas. I only ever look at it when I'm on my computer and have it up. I have the app on my phone but never got notifications, because I realized that I had never set it up! It's actually really easy to figure out and it's nice because you can control which notifications you get. I hate getting the little ones because in some classes, I get so many a day! (If you've ever done a discussion post in a class and then get a notification for every reply on that thread, you know what I mean). It's just nice to be able to pick and choose what I want to see and it helps weed out the things that aren't as important!
