Ghost Stories: Where is Everyone?
I chose this first storybook because the name stood out to me. I'm a big fan of spooky things and love a good ghost story! When I got to the site it was even better that it was about the University of Oklahoma where I attend college. The introduction is very captivating and made me want to read more! They wrote about how there are buildings I pass by everyday where a tragedy happens and I don't even know it, and of course I'm nosy and HAD to know.
The Beginning of the End
I really liked this title and it stood out to me just because I was intrigued by what it meant. The beginning of the end can mean a lot of different things and I was excited to find out what they were talking about. It ended up being about Indian stories that related to how the Universe was created. When I got to the homepage I could get a sense of what the storybook was about before even reading the introduction because of the header picture of the galaxy. The introduction gave hints into the stories within it and it made me want to read more. It gave you a glimpse of each and it was just enough to keep you wanting more!
To Love and Lose
Now, I don't know about you but I am a sucker for love. That's why I chose this as another one of my favorite storybooks. It stood out by the title and I was super interested to hear about a love story. The introduction is SO cool. The fire effects really stand out and how the introduction was worded it made me feel like I was about to get a good story. The only thing better than happy ever after is a love story sprinkled with a little bit of betrayal. This was a really good read and highly recommended for people who enjoy stories of love and betrayal!
